Frequently Asked Questions

What's the difference between a challenge and a cohort?

Think of a Challenge as a 5-day sprint. It helps you solve one preaching problem quickly and gives you momentum. A Cohort is a 10-week journey with a small group, where you’ll get live coaching, accountability, and lasting transformation. Both are designed to help you preach better—one is a quick win, the other is a deep reset.

How much time will I need to commit?

Challenges take about 30–60 minutes per day for one week. Cohorts typically ask for 2–3 hours per week, including live sessions.

What if I miss a session?

No problem. Cohort calls are recorded and posted for replay, and Challenges can be completed anytime during the 5 days. We know ministry is unpredictable—you won’t fall behind.

Can my church cover the cost?

Yes. Many pastors use continuing education or ministry development funds to enroll. It’s a professional investment that benefits both you and your congregation.

Why is this different than other preaching resources?

Most resources give you more content to consume. Pulpit Advance gives you a clear framework, hands-on coaching, and accountability so you can actually apply what you learn and see real change in the pulpit.

Can I get this for my staff?

Absolutely! This platform and all of its resources exist to support the local church and we hope this would be used to help equip and train support staff as well as the next generation of preachers.
